I have always been fascinated by video games. I believe they are the greatest story telling medium in existence. No books nor movies can tell stories like video games do, and now that virtual reality is around the corner, I believe they will take over and change the world forever.

This is why I started my own video game studio Squidbeam Games in 2014.

Here are some old video game projects, from my early Atari ST years (1989/1995) to my PC experiments (2002/2003).

3D WORLDS
2003

3D Worlds was a kid's dream. In 2003, I tried to look again at some of my old algorithms and decided to test some of them on a much bigger scale...

WEIRDOZ EGGS
2002

Weirdoz Eggs was a PC shoot'em up I started to write in 2002. Sadly It didn't get very far because of lack of time. However the game is playable (only one stage) and a lot of the design and story line was completed.

BEAGLE
1995

Beagle was the last episode of my Atari ST history. It is also the most rewarding program I have ever written. The software is entirely based on artificial life and generic algorithms and it was at the core of my Fine Art Degree.

Early Video Games & Atari ST years
1987 - 1994
The first time I laid my hands on a computer was around 1984. I created my first games on an IBM PC using green ASCII characters and crude beeps. I was 11 years old. My dad later purchased an Atari ST - I started to write my first games and quickly mixed pictures, music, sound and programming.
