Wiliness 3: The Bestiary

1. In game monsters

There are 13 monsters in the current version of the game ( there are some Dearks in Level 6 but the place is full of bugs and far for being finished...) The final version would have probably counted 20 or more enemies.

Monster
Name
Location
Description
Goblin
Level 1
Goblins are weak and stupid enemies. Their mind can be easily manipulated. They all carry a dagger which they will drop when killed. They sometimes also carry food.
Red Goblin
Level 1
Red Goblins are magically enhanced goblins. They are tougher than the common goblin and they use a wooden club as only weapon.
Scravul

Level 4
Scravuls are nasty monsters, they usually move in groups. They grab their pray with strong claws hidden under their protective shells. But they can be a good source of food when killed.
Eyeball
Level 2
Eyeballs are fast and dangerous enemies and they use powerful electric shocks to hit their opponent. They are usually magically created and act as guardians. Only great Mantacores can create Eyeballs who can wonder far from their creator.
Flying Snake
Level 2
Flying Snakes are also fast and powerful monsters. Do not stay too long in front of one of them. Beside, they can also be a good source of food when killed.
Kobold
Level 2
Kobolds are usually only attracted by gain and often associate themselves with other evil creatures. They always carry a lot of food but may sometimes drop magical objects. Kobold are vicious and should not be trusted !

Stone Golems are created by powerful sorcerers. They are strong but slow opponents. Do not try to fight more than one at the time! (if you get powerful enough, you can create your own Stone Golems to protect you).
Fire Golem
Level 3
Fire Golems are also magical monsters. They are powerful and can not be hit with traditional weapons...

Stalkers are hoovering creatures throwing poisonous substances in the air.
Hursaa
Level 5
Hursaas are tough enemies. They are clever and really good fighters. Do not try to hide behind a door from them they'll know how to get to you !
Ghost
Level 5
Ghosts usually haunt walls and they are tough enemies. Unlike fire golems they can be hit with normal weapons.

2. non game monsters

The following monsters sadly never got included in the current version of the game. The final version would have counted a few more levels and those are some of the baddies you would have encountered there...

Monster
Name
Location
Description
Deark
Level 6
Some Dearks are probably around Level 6 in the actual game. They are hoovering creatures and they can throw fireballs and also teleport themselves. In Level 6 or Level 7, there were supposed to be a big room full of them and the party would not have stand a chance to cross it. The only way would have been to kill four Chaos Warriors and use their armors. The room could then be crossed as the Dearks would not attack you anymore.
Chaos Warrior
Level 6
They are magically created warriors. When killed, they would drop the whole of their armour and also their powerful swords (which could inflict great damages but only a few times before loosing its power). The armours could then be used to cross the room full of Dearks (see Dearks).
Giant Rat

Another monster that didn't make it to the final game...
Red Scorpion
Level ?
Another monster that didn't make it to the final game...
Salamander
